Recently, he graduated from our Prison Partnership Program, where he spent four weeks learning essential life skills to help him thrive in his new home. Shadow has a unique feature that makes him extra special: his tail is quite short! Why? Because he’s such a happy guy that he wagged it a little too enthusiastically into things he shouldn’t have. We think it adds to his charm! Shadow would do best in a calm, adult-only home, as loud environments aren’t his favorite. He might also enjoy living with another medium or large dog—provided they’re sturdy enough to handle his goofy bursts of energy. A secure backyard is a must for this playful boy! This dog is not cat tolerant.
