Adele, Alita & Sunny

Thank you GAP for the most magical pairing ever!! We adopted Alita and Sunshine/ Sunny 12 months ago.

They have melted our hearts with so much love they are just magical. Alita is our mature princess full of grace. She is so incredibly loving and gentle. Full of personality, she will let us know what she want by poking us with her nose. Our giant lap dog who chatters her teeth when she's excited.

Our Sunshine we call him sunny now has come along way since he come into our lives. It took quiet a few months for him to realise we are his furever family, after being with other families. Sunny hugs us with his head as his a big softy and loves being effectionate. He greets us everytime we get home with his squeaky toys, spinning around in circles. A gentle goofy, loving, protective boy. When he wants to go for a walk he will hold my arm and lead me to where the leashes are.

Zoomies are a daily joy with these two. Alita will often encourage sunny to zoom with her. Thank you again GAP for this perfect pairing. Our fur kids furever.

Puddles is not only gorgeous but after his initial enthusiasm and excitement, he settles down and is quite a chilled dog. He is a friendly boy to all he meets. Puddles loves travelling in the car and is up for many road trips with his family. Puddles may suit living with or without a canine pal of medium/large in size and children aged 10 years and older. Sorry no apartments for Puddles.

Gregg has Rapid breakdown of fibrin clots resulting in tendency to bleed after surgical intervention or injury. No intervention is needed for a daily basis, but may require pre- and post-operative treatment with tranexamic acid - discuss with your regular veterinarian for planned surgeries. Gregg also has an auto immune disease of the eyes, called Pannus. This is controlled with daily eye drops

Rapunzel

Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your paws! Looking for your fairy tail dog? Then look no further. This sweet lady has recently come back from spending Christmas in a home and is ready for her next adventure. Her carer said that she was well behaved and loves to relax on her bed and even doesn't mind the odd roach! Rapunzel is still learning about other breeds of dog so we think if she was to live with another canine brother it will be best that they are medium or larger. But since she is so laid back and sweet, children 5 and over may be suitable. We also think she may be ok to laze around in an apartment (or should we say tower?) - as long as she rewrites history and is allowed to come out of her tower a few times a day to grace the world with her presence and go on sniffari's! Rapunzel has previously fractured her left hock, which has osteoarthritis. She has been given a course of pentosan injections to help support the joint.

This dog is part of our Assisted Rehoming Program (ARP). We have behavioural and health assessed this lovely dog, and they will remain with their racing owners until they find an adoptive home, at which point they are brought back into GAP. This means that should you be interested in adopting this dog, we are bringing the dog into GAP on the understanding that you will be adopting this particular dog, and not other dogs currently in our care.

She also may be suitable to live with calm and respectful small, medium and large dogs.
