Meet Fran, a beautiful greyhound with the softest heart to match her elegant looks. Polite and gentle by nature, Fran is a sweet, affectionate girl who enjoys quiet companionship and kind attention. She has a slightly submissive personality and is happiest in calm environments where she can feel safe and loved. Fran might be well suited to a home with children aged 5+ who understand gentle handling, or with adults looking for a low-key, loving companion. Fran’s easygoing nature means she’s a great match for apartments and could comfortably live with elderly adopters. She would be happiest as an only dog or with a compatible canine companion who shares her relaxed outlook on life. With the right introductions, she may also suit a home with a cat. Meet Maddox, a strikingly handsome blue greyhound with unforgettable golden eyes and a big, joyful personality. Friendly, playful, and delightfully puppyish, Maddox loves to engage with the world around him and brings a lot of energy and charm into everyday life. He would thrive in a home with children aged 10+ or adults who can match his enthusiasm and enjoy an active, interactive dog who still has plenty of youthful spirit. Maddox is best suited to a home where he can have space to move and play, so apartment living isn’t recommended. He would be happiest as an only dog or with a confident, sturdy canine companion who can keep up with his play style—older or frail dogs (or people) wouldn’t be a good match for him. With the right introductions, Maddox may be cat friendly. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, lively greyhound with movie-star looks and an affectionate heart, Maddox could be your perfect companion.

What a unique name Jigsaw is! Jigsaw has the cutest pointy ears when he is alert. Jigsaw suffers from some anxiety, sudden noises or movements can startle him but generally recovers quickly and moves on. Once his true personality comes out he is very happy playing with his ball and rope, he shakes hands and gets along well with dogs of similar size, saying that he may suit living as an only dog or with a dog of similar size, he will likely suit children aged in their teenage years. Sorry Jigsaw wouldn’t likely suit living in an apartment.

Have you seen ears as adorable as Trixie's? Well we think they are pretty divine. Sweet Trixie is ready and waiting for her pawfect match to come and take her home to a home that will take her on adventures, shower her in her favourite things (especially toys) and laugh everyday at her antics. This girl has a real zest for life and her age isn't slowing her down! We think Trixie may suit living with another medium or larger canine buddy and children 5 and over. Isha ARP

3 years old

Child tolerant

Small dog tolerant

Isha is a beautiful 3yr old greyhound with the sweetest nature and the most charming smile you’ll ever see.

She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a bit of time and you’ll see her playful, energetic side come to life. Once she warms up, Isha absolutely loves being around her people and has a way of making everyone around her smile right back.

Isha is currently living in a home with two young children and two other greyhounds, so she’s well used to family life. While she has grown up around little kids, she can get a bit excited by them (purely out of love!), so she would likely be best suited to a home with older children (10 and over) who understand her gentle but enthusiastic nature.

She would be best suited to a home with medium or larger male dogs and isn’t suited to living with cats.

Isha would thrive in a quieter, more relaxed environment and we think regional living would suit her perfectly, where she can enjoy space, routine and a calm lifestyle away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and an even bigger smile, Isha might just be your girl.

Sniper ARP

Child tolerant

Sniper is very handsome with kind eyes. He doesn’t understand how big he is sometimes and can be strong on lead. He is excitable and enthusiastic when you first meet him then calms down and is very sweet and friendly. Sniper may suit living with or without a robust canine friend that’s medium size or larger and children in their teenage years. He will likely do best in a home with a backyard so he can run and play in.

This dog is part of our Assisted Rehoming Program (ARP). We have behavioural and health assessed this lovely dog, and they will remain with their racing owners until they find an adoptive home, at which point they are brought back into GAP. This means that should you be interested in adopting this dog, we are bringing the dog into GAP on the understanding that you will be adopting this particular dog, and not other dogs currently in our care.
