Apartment living

Minty is a lovely, sweet older girl who is bursting with personality! She loves being around her people and will lean on you for comfort (and sometimes laziness). Her affectionate nature and delightfully plump physique will be sure to win you over! Minty absolutely loves treats and toys, so she shouldn't be hard to train her to bust a move. She may suit living with or without another canine companion of any size and might even suit apartment living (she has started learning how to do stairs). She might be happy living with school aged children 5-10 years old and full time workers.

Meet Leonardo. This handsome boy is quiet but friendly. He can sometimes be a little cautious, but he tries his hardest in new situations. With a supportive and kind home, he will blossom into his full personality. Because of Leonardos sweet and quiet personality he may suit living with any size dogs, and he may be suitable to live with older children aged 15+. For Leonardo to thrive he will require a quiet home in a quiet neighbourhood. Leonardo had some anxiety in out kennels due to the army base bombing. Transitional medication will be provided to help him settle into his new home.

Milla was Lemon

Meet Lemon, as cute as her name is! She is only a young girl being barely 2 years old, she is just a sweet delight and the first people to meet her will fall in love. She walks well on a lead and is mostly easy to handle. She enjoys treats, so we think she will be easily trained with her food motivation. She may suit living with or without a canine brother of any size (if a small dog they would be better if they are playful and robust) and children aged 10 years and older.

Ben ARP

2 years old

Child tolerant

Small dog tolerant

Ben is a super sweet, highly intelligent, and gentle soul who is looking for a quiet, patient home where he can truly come out of his shell. He is a shy and anxious boy who is cautious around new people and slow to bond, but for the right person, the reward is immeasurable — once he trusts you, he is deeply affectionate, loving, and playful. His foster carer describes him nuzzling in for cuddles, licking hands, and snuggling close. He does best with a calm, consistent presence and will need an owner (or owners) who are gentle and willing to give him the time he needs to feel safe. He would suit a quiet home with older, teenage children, and is happy to live with a calm, polite dog of any size, having bonded beautifully with his foster carer’s small older dog. Once Ben feels secure, his personality truly blossoms. He loves squeaky toys, adores a big plush toy to cuddle up with, and will happily do zoomies around the backyard or chase a toy when he’s comfortable in your company. He is a fast learner — picking up toilet boundaries quickly with gentle guidance — and he settled well with a dedicated safe space of his own, like a large pen, which he never soiled and always retreated to happily. He sleeps through the night and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He is a strong dog on the lead, so a physically confident walker is ideal. He is not a fussy eater but eats best when he feels relaxed and safe. Ben is a truly special dog, and the right patient, gentle home will be so lucky to have him.

Panama

4 years old

Child tolerant

Meet Panama — a handsome, affectionate greyhound with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This boofy, enthusiastic boy is always ready for fun, whether it’s a playful burst around the yard or leaning right into you for his favourite thing in the world: back scratches. Panama is full of life and loves being part of the action, bringing a joyful, goofy energy wherever he goes. He’s also completed behavioural rehabilitation training, giving him a solid foundation and helping him channel all that enthusiasm into being a loving, well-mannered companion who thrives on attention and connection. Panama would suit a home with kids aged 10+ or adults who can match his active nature and appreciate his affectionate, people-oriented style. He’s happiest either as the only dog or with a medium-to-large canine companion who can keep up with his playful spirit. Due to his history, Panama is not suitable for homes with small dogs or cats, and he isn’t suited to living with elderly individuals. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, loyal greyhound who will keep you smiling and stick close by your side (literally), Panama is ready to lean his way straight into your heart. Panama has a hygroma. A hygroma is a collection of fluid which often occurs over bony prominences (such as the elbow) on dogs, especially with repeated exposure to hard surfaces (eg lying on concrete). Hygromas are generally not harmful to a dog's wellbeing and non-painful, unless they become very distended with fluid or burst through the skin surface.

Caper is a quiet, sensible boy with a big heart and an even bigger presence — a true gentle giant. He’s friendly, personable and affectionate, often leaning into his handler for comfort and connection. Easy to handle and good on lead, Caper is a lovely companion both out on walks and at home. In foster care, Caper quickly showed just how special he is. He absolutely loves human company and will happily follow you around the house just to be near you and see what you’re up to. He enjoys his daily zoomies, then settles into his favourite position — roaching on his bed without a care in the world. When it’s time to relax, he’s all about pats and cuddles, especially a good neck scratch, which he adores. Caper is best suited to an adult-only home with no children. Caper would thrive either as an only dog or with medium to large canine companions. Caper has osteoarthritis which is inflammation of the cartilage and bone joints.

Buddy ARP

Buddy is the kind of dog who enters a room and instantly makes it brighter — a big, handsome, boofy boy with a personality to match his size. Friendly, outgoing, and brimming with confidence, he approaches life with boundless enthusiasm and a happiness that is utterly contagious. Throw in a tasty treat or a favourite toy and you’ll have one very happy boy on your hands.

Buddy is a dog who needs space to match his enormous energy and even bigger personality, so a home with a backyard is a must — somewhere he can zoom, bound, and burn off that glorious enthusiasm of his. He will thrive with an active family who can match his zest for life and keep him engaged, stimulated, and loved. In return, Buddy will bring laughter, liveliness, and a whole lot of heart to whoever is lucky enough to call him theirs. Billy

4 years old

No items found.
Hi I’m a Billy ! This is what my lovely foster carer said about me: It takes me about 2–3 weeks to settle in but once I do, you’ll be rewarded with a wagging tail (don’t expect wild zoomies… I’m more of a slow-burn guy) and sweet boy. I need outdoor space. This is non-negotiable. Why? Because like to make a spot in the yard to lay in and it makes me feel safe. One other thing I love is cooked chicken (without the bones!). I’m not a big eater, but treats are my love language. Pig’s ears = yes please. I would like a quiet, predictable home. No kids (they are scary), and I'd like to have the house to myself (other dogs, no thanks, this in my home!). A few more things about me: I don’t like the car yet, I unlocked my “I’m so comfortable” sleepy groans (this means I’m relaxed, not scary), I like my foster dad because I know him now (and he gives me the best ear scratches!) but strange men on the street make me a bit nervous. Big dogs that bark at me? Rude. I was minding my business. I am still a little scared of a couple things — noises, sudden movements, curtains being pulled (terrifying) — but I’m learning every single day. Despite my nerves, I’m actually very easy-going. I’m fine being home while you’re at work (more quality time to sleep in the yard!). I’d suit calm, patient, owners that can be full-time workers with outdoor space, realistic expectations, and a sense of humour. Love, Your future greyhound, Billy

Isn’t he just handsome! William is for sure a looker but under that stunning coat is a soft, sweet but shy young man that will need sometime and patience in his new home whilst he learns the lay of the land. William will do best with a home that has a yard for him to relax in whilst he transitions as a pet and maybe another a dog of any size.
