Pogo is best suited to a household with teens 15+ or adults, and he’ll need a secure backyard where he can stretch out and play. He can live as an only dog or with a robust medium to large canine companion, but he’s not suitable for homes with cats, apartments, or elderly residents. With the right environment and guidance, Pogo will reward you with loyalty, laughs, and plenty of greyhound love. Pogo has had irritable bowel syndrome while in our care at GAP. We have had much improvement using a specialty diet, with "inside out" powder on his food. This should be continued into his new home.

This dog is part of our Assisted Rehoming Program (ARP). We have behavioural and health assessed this lovely dog, and they will remain with their racing owners until they find an adoptive home, at which point they are brought back into GAP. This means that should you be interested in adopting this dog, we are bringing the dog into GAP on the understanding that you will be adopting this particular dog, and not other dogs currently in our care.
