Frank is best suited to a home with adults or kids aged 10+, where his enthusiasm and size will be well matched. He would thrive as the only dog or alongside a medium-to-large canine companion, but he isn’t suitable for homes with small dogs or cats. Due to his energy and continued learning, he’s not the right fit for elderly households. With a bit of structure, patience, and plenty of affection, Frank will reward his family with loyalty, fun, and that unmistakable greyhound grin that makes every day brighter.

Periwinkle is a striking male greyhound with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Friendly, outgoing, and full of quiet confidence, he quickly wins people over with his affectionate nature and calm, easy-going presence. Periwinkle 19981 has had wrist bone fracture prior to GAP entry. He bears weight on this limb and the area is stable, he does have a small amount of arthritis due to this injury. He enjoys human company and is happiest when he can be close to his people, whether that’s relaxing by your side or heading out for a leisurely walk. Periwinkle is well-mannered and easy to handle, making him a wonderful companion for adults or a family with children aged 10 and over who can respect his space and gentle nature. Having successfully completed behavioural rehabilitation training, Periwinkle is ready for a fresh start in a home that understands his needs. He would do best as an only dog, or potentially with a medium to large dog of similar temperament, but he cannot live with small dogs or cats. Periwinkle is not suited to a home with elderly owners, as he thrives in a steady, confident environment. With the right match, he will reward his new family with loyalty, affection, and companionship every day.

Terry loves love, and he makes that very clear, locking eyes with you like you’re the most important person in the room before leaning in for affection. Friendly, personable, and delightfully puppyish, he’s full of quirky charm and playful curiosity. Thanks to his behavioural rehabilitation training—focused on helping him learn appropriate behaviour around other dogs—Terry has gained great skills and continues to thrive with guidance, structure, and positive connection. Terry is looking for a home where his big personality can shine—either with adults or a family with kids aged 10+. He’s best suited as the only dog or with a medium-to-large canine companion who matches his energy, but he isn’t suitable for homes with small dogs or cats. Because of his size and zest for life, he’s also not the right fit for elderly households. Terry has had a previous injury to his right hock, but it hasn't stopped him from loving life. He may need some arthritis care later in his lifetime because of this. Give Terry the leadership, love, and routine he craves, and he’ll repay you with unwavering loyalty, daily laughs, and the kind of joy that only a dog who truly loves his people can bring.

She’s quiet, polite, and a little submissive, and although she can be anxious at times, she truly wants to please her people. Her soft nature makes her a lovely companion for someone who appreciates a more reserved, sensitive dog. Buffy is looking for an adults-only home that is peaceful and predictable, with a secure backyard where she can relax and feel at ease. Apartment living isn’t suitable for her, and she’s not suited to homes with elderly or frail people. Buffy would do best as an only dog or with a compatible medium to large dog, but she cannot live with cats. Pocket has had a wonderful head start through our Prison Pet Partnership Program, where she completed pre-pet training and blossomed into the confident, well-rounded girl she is today — and she is now ready to find her forever family. She would do best with children aged ten and older who can enjoy her lively, exuberant personality, and she may suit a home with or without a canine companion of similar size. A backyard is essential for this energetic sweetheart, giving her the space to run, play and truly flourish. Bonnita would be best suited to a home with kids aged 10+ or adults who can continue to nurture her confidence and respect her boundaries. She can happily live as an only dog or with a medium-to-large canine companion, but she isn’t suitable for homes with small dogs or cats. Due to her size and occasional playful energy, she’s not suited to living with elderly individuals. If you’re looking for a gentle, sun-loving girl who will bring warmth, sweetness, and quiet companionship into your life, Bonnita is ready to find her forever home.

Meet Laz, who will turn heads with his sleek, shiny black glossy coat – what a healthy boy! He is just a really nice boy, friendly to all; he is quiet and calm and walks really well on a loose lead. He loves treats but isn't snatchy about it. Laz may suit living with or without a canine friend of medium/large size and, due to his gentle nature, may suit living with the elderly and may even be OK to live in an apartment. He would benefit from a home that can provide him with routine and understanding, as he has shown some mild sleep startle and resource guarding tendencies. Laz has had a metacarpal fracture prior to GAP entry; he bears weight and the injury is stable. Pick up the phones to call our adoption team – this boy won’t last long!

Caper is a quiet, sensible boy with a big heart and an even bigger presence — a true gentle giant. He’s friendly, personable and affectionate, often leaning into his handler for comfort and connection. Easy to handle and good on lead, Caper is a lovely companion both out on walks and at home. In foster care, Caper quickly showed just how special he is. He absolutely loves human company and will happily follow you around the house just to be near you and see what you’re up to. He enjoys his daily zoomies, then settles into his favourite position — roaching on his bed without a care in the world. When it’s time to relax, he’s all about pats and cuddles, especially a good neck scratch, which he adores. Caper is best suited to an adult-only home with no children. Caper would thrive either as an only dog or with medium to large canine companions. Caper has osteoarthritis which is inflammation of the cartilage and bone joints.

Hi I’m a Billy ! This is what my lovely foster carer said about me: It takes me about 2–3 weeks to settle in but once I do, you’ll be rewarded with a wagging tail (don’t expect wild zoomies… I’m more of a slow-burn guy) and sweet boy. I need outdoor space. This is non-negotiable. Why? Because like to make a spot in the yard to lay in and it makes me feel safe. One other thing I love is cooked chicken (without the bones!). I’m not a big eater, but treats are my love language. Pig’s ears = yes please. I would like a quiet, predictable home. No kids (they are scary), and I'd like to have the house to myself (other dogs, no thanks, this in my home!). A few more things about me: I don’t like the car yet, I unlocked my “I’m so comfortable” sleepy groans (this means I’m relaxed, not scary), I like my foster dad because I know him now (and he gives me the best ear scratches!) but strange men on the street make me a bit nervous. Big dogs that bark at me? Rude. I was minding my business. I am still a little scared of a couple things — noises, sudden movements, curtains being pulled (terrifying) — but I’m learning every single day. Despite my nerves, I’m actually very easy-going. I’m fine being home while you’re at work (more quality time to sleep in the yard!). Korie's made great progress after completing behavioural rehabilitation training and is ready for a forever home. Korie needs a medium to large male dog for company – she'd love a playmate to share her adventures with. She suits households with kids 10+ or adults who can keep up with her lively vibe – no elderly people, please! No small dogs or cats, thanks!
