Jess

4 years old

Small dog tolerant

She gives off “Elle Wood” – Legally Blonde vibes and she is totally okay with it! This fun, flirty, sweet girl is beauty and brains rolled into one and we know she is going to make a great family addition. We think she may suit children 10 and over and may also suit living with her own Bruiser– just as long as they are a little robust and happy to play. Her race name suggests ‘Nobody’s Perfect’ but Jess would probably tell you otherwise!

Bubbles

She is sweet, she is bashful and she is a bundle full of joy, but she finds new people and places quite overwhelming. Bubbles has come such a long way at GAP and she is certainly the top of everyone's favourite list (shhh we dont tell the other doggos this!). Whilst she doesn't show her true colors straight away we can tell you her personality is just waiting to come out and fill you with laughter and a goofy smile. When she is her true self she is bouncy like a puppy, super affectionate and enthusiastic. She has done lots of socializing here with other breeds of dogs and she feels much more herself when she is around them, so a home with another confident male canine is a must. She may even suit living with a cat! Due to her nature we feel its best her new forever home is a quiet one that doesn't have children as they are scary! A yard to do zoomies and relax in would be very beneficial and patient owners that understand she needs time to adjust. Bubbles does come with medication to help her transition to being the best version of herself in her new life.

We promise you that Skye does have ears! They actually roll up like a cinnamon scroll and sit neatly on her head - it’s the cutest thing you will ever see. Miss Skye is a bit of a shy girl and can take some time before she shows you her full personality. We think her forever home should be somewhere quiet with a yard and has a patient owner to let her explore the world at her pace. Children 15 and over would be better for her and the company of another male dog of any size that can show her the ropes.

Xenie

Meet the super adorable girl - Xenie! Xenie can be a bit of an introvert and independent at times but at the same time is the perfect amount of sweet, sensible and affectionate. She walks well on lead and is easy to handle mostly. She has a talent that not many greyhounds can do - she can sit! She doesn't know the command yet but with time we think she will and do it on command! Xenie may suit living with or without a canine brother of medium/large in size, children aged 10 years and older. And due to her quiet nature and leash manners, we feel she may do OK with elderly owners. She can be a bit nervous when walking near traffic, so a quiet neighbourhood would be best rather than inner city living. We are happy to report that Xenie has successfully completed some extra training in our onsite Behavioural Rehabilitation Program and is now ready for adoption. Xenie has a low grade heart murmur, which doesn't affect his day-to-day life, or require medicating.

Power up those ears Arlo and listen in for your new family! One way to describe Arlo is he is a bit "quirky". You think you've met most personalities of greyhound then you meet Arlo and find more things to love about the breed! Arlo is a sleek, shiny boy that is friendly and outgoing, quiet but also will get up and burst out in dance all of a sudden! He has a knack for getting his coat off and will most willingly show you how he does it and expect you to clap and cheer when he succeeds. He tends not to really care about other dogs around him but has spent time doing some socialising at GAP with the Behaviour Team so he understands how to when he does want to say hi. Arlo is a secret cuddle bug and whilst he tends to act like he is totally fine chillin by himself, he does love to have a good cuddle and scratch and be told what a good boy he is. Arlo does has a low-grade heart murmur which doesn't require medication or affect his day-to-day life. We think he may suit living with children 10+ and another medium or larger dog that doesn't need to Arlo to be their "bestie".
