Meet Cheddar! She is so beautiful and sweet on the inside we hope people don't overlook her as she is not one of the pretty dogs in the kennels. She is a chilled-out, sweet and personable girl but not pushy about it. She decided that she would like company of another dog (preferably a male) in her forever home and due to her calm nature, she may suit living with children aged 5 years and older. She may even like to be best friends with a kitty cat! In January 2026 Cheddar had a lump removed from her right chest wall. This was diagnosed as a mast cell tumour, low grade. Mast cell tumours of a low grade that have had complete surgical excision most often have a good outcome.

We'll have a friendly chat to learn more about your lifestyle, preferences, and what you're looking for in a greyhound.

Step 3 - Meet the greyhounds

Visit one of our adoption centres to meet the greyhounds and spend time finding the right match for you.

Step 4 - Welcoming your greyhound home

Once approved, you’ll bring your new greyhound home with helpful info on their care and medical history.

Step 5 - Ongoing support

Our support doesn’t end at adoption - we’re here for you and your greyhound every step of the way.
