Lisa & Nellie

We adopted Nellie (formerly Neptune) back in mid March and she has very quickly settled into pet life.

She loves her toys, digging and zoomies in the backyard and cuddles with dad when he gets home from work. She loves her walks and meeting other doggos and has learnt to sit.

She has such a cheeky and playful personality. We are so happy we decided to give this sweet girl her forever home! ❤️

Meet Wolf! He is a young boy who can be a bit unsure of new environments and situations. Once he is comfortable, he allows his true colours to shine through and is puppyish, playful and affectionate. Wolf appears to have some issues with his vision, so he will need a special home who can manage this over the course of his life. Wolf may suit living with or without a canine pal of similar size and older children aged in their teens. Wolf has low vision, which isn't expected to get any worse. He doesn't require medication for this. He will be adopted out with a approval for a follow up appointment with an eye specialist, paid for by GAP.

She has a confident and friendly outlook on life and loves to socialise with her fans. We think this lady will be the star in her new families eyes from the moment they meet her. Homes with children 10+ and either with or without another robust medium or larger male companion may be the best suit for this diva. Just be prepared for some servant like demands from this girl as she will love to live the rest of her life looking cute and feeling fabulous! Princess has some Arthritis, but this doesn't stop her being her happy, bubbly self!

Attention coffee lovers, Latte may be the dog for you! Latte may be an addiction to her new owner as she is so fun, she will have them in fits of endless laughter with her antics. She is only a young girl being not even 2 years old. She is very bouncy girl and doesn't realise her own size at times. With her young and active nature will likely do best in a home with a backyard to run and play in. She may also do best in a home with children aged 10 years and older and may be OK to live with or without a playful dog of any size.

Jeff Lebowski

Jeff "The Dude" Lebowski is an adorable pooch, just look at that cute face! Jeff is a young boy who has lots to learn about life and even though he will be turning 4 this year, he still acts like a big puppy! He can find other breeds of dog (other than greyhounds) a little scary, but we feel with a patient owner who will help him by gradually introducing him to other breeds in the right way, he will realise that other breeds of dog are just as good as greyhounds (well almost ;) ). Jeff would like a home where all the love can be showered on him and he does not have to share with another dog. Jeff is fond of the loud noises younger children can make so a home with teenagers aged 15 years and older, we believe he will do best in a home with a backyard for him to run and play in.

Santos L. Halper

We don't know how anyone can resist these floppy ears and stunning face. Santos is a crowd favourite here at GAP and ask anyone they would have a story about him for you. Santos is a real snuggle bug and it helps that his coat is super soft and fluffy. He has some pretty unique markings as well with one looking like a love heart! Santos has spent a bit of time here at GAP as he had to have TPLO surgery for a partially ruptured cruciate, as well as a course of Arthritis injections which will need to continue throughout his life. He is now recovered and ready for his new life! We think that he would suit living as an only dog best as he is quite independent and can still be a little unsteady on his leg so a home with NO Stairs is best for him. . We also think kids 10+ would be better for him and somewhere with a yard to hang out in.

Our wonderful Stevie boy is ready to win hearts. Stevie is a lovely and friendly boy who can charm anyone with his outgoing and affectionate personality. He loves his toys and may be best suited to a home with children 10+ and would enjoy having another dog to be his buddy. We could all use a bit of Stevie love in our lives! Stevie would also love a backyard to run and play in. Stevie has spent some time in foster care and his foster carer said that he is a "...happy, big goofball, eager to please, cuddler and leaner. sleeps all night. plays with every toy likes soft toys and chew toys, favourite is the snorting pig and chasing ball. loves digging them all out of the basket. would be great with another large dog or by himself as long as he has things he can play with." Stevie has some osteo arthritis from an old injury, but this doesn't stop him from being his bright, bubbly self.
