Did you know last year’s adoption bonanza saw a record 103 greyhounds find homes? In fact, the event only lasted two days because all of the available greyhounds were adopted by Saturday.

We’re hoping to break last year’s record with more than 100 greyhounds available for adoption during the 3-day Adoption Event from Friday, January 18 to Sunday, January 20, 2019.

To help reach this goal, GAP is waiving all of its adoption fees for the weekend, so anyone who is interested in adopting and can provide a good home may be able to adopt a greyhound FREE of charge.

Greyhounds are easy-going and affectionate dogs who make fantastic pets. Just ask anyone who has adopted a GAP greyhound or checkout the GAP Online Community and you’ll see just how lovable these dogs are.

The greyhounds up for adoption have gone through the GAP process, which includes a small dog assessment, and are now ready for life in a home. Although, the adoption fees have been waived, GAP staff and volunteers will continue to follow the same adoption process to try and match each greyhound with the right family for them.
