New Chapter for ‘Every Greyhound Has a Story’ Exhibition

The Greyhound Adoption Program’s award-winning ‘Every Greyhound Has a Story’ photographic exhibition is no longer a physical showpiece after its state-wide Road Show drew to a close at Dudley House at Bendigo in May.

Since launching in Melbourne’s busy Flinders Street precinct just over 12 months ago, the exhibition visited various towns across Victoria including Warrnambool, Geelong and Morwell giving greyhound fans a chance to view the breed through powerful and emotive imagery captured by renowned Australian photographer, Josh Robenstone.

The ‘Every Greyhound Has a Story’ project illustrates 11 contrasting stories closely linked to the Greyhound Adoption Program such as ‘About-Town’ greyhound Mouse, the Prison Pet Partnership and Hamish & Andy’s celebrity greyhound, Fred Basset.

The Future…
The ‘Every Greyhound Has a Story’ exhibition is one of a number of recent initiatives that has led to a huge spike in the number of greyhounds being adopted in Victoria over the past two years. While the Road Show has drawn to a close, the exhibition will soon be re-launched as an On-line Gallery displaying Robenstone’s collection of photographs as well as video pieces of the 11 stories.
