Ever wondered what takes place at the Greyhound Adoption Program’s Adoption Days?

Introduced in 2014, Adoption Days are held approximately every six weeks at various locations in and around Melbourne.

Potential adopters are invited to come along for afternoon tea and meet around 20 greyhounds that are ready for immediate adoption.

However, rather than being a case of ‘see dog – get dog’, Adoption Days are more like a carefully orchestrated game of the 1980s TV game show, Perfect Match, with greyhounds strategically placed into suitable homes.
