Angel Soars in Colourful Contest

Around 20 greyhounds got dressed up for the Greyhound Adoption Program’s annual Fancy Dress competition at its Christmas Festival in Seymour last weekend.

Among the judges was Greyhound Racing Victoria Director, Jenni Coustley, who found it hard to separate the competition.

“It’s great to see so many entrants go to so much effort… you’re all winners in our eyes,” Jenni announced.

In the end, however, a victor had to be decided, and it was ‘Polly’ who was crowned the 2014 champion for her stunning Christmas angel attire which even included a silver tinsel halo.

Polly won a $50 voucher from Petbarn, two movie tickets and some doggie toys and treats, while the second and third placegetters also received prize packs.

Congratulations to all greyhounds and owners that entered, as it added plenty of colour to a successful day.
