Mandy & Elley
She fit in very quickly in the family. For the first week or so, she was a little unsure, and it took about that long for her personality to start shining through.
She fit in very quickly in the family. For the first week or so, she was a little unsure, and it took about that long for her personality to start shining through. She didn’t really eat much for the first couple of days which was a little concerning, but it was quite hot and I have realised that was mostly the cause. Now she eats like a champ and loves dinner time.
Elley is a beautiful girl who loves her cuddles. I feel like we bonded almost immediately, and she is now a leaning shadow of love and gorgeousness at my side. Her zoomies are hilarious, she has such a joyful personality. When I get home from work, she greets with such enthusiasm and love, it warms my heart. I decided to foster because I lost my beautiful boy Bronx in September and I wasn’t sure if I was ready for another dog. Elley has been the perfect fit for me, and I decided to adopt her because I couldn’t imagine life without her after a couple of weeks. She is part of the furniture now and has a very special place in my heart.
Attached is my fave picture so far of her. We don’t have any family ones yet sorry, but I am looking forward to a wonderful life with her and lots of memories.
I would highly recommend fostering to anyone thinking about getting one of these wonderful puppahs!
Love Mandy

Meet our dogs ready for adoption
All greyhounds adopted from GAP are de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and health checked.

Lizzy ARP
They say some dogs can just give you a look and its love a first sight, well those eyes will certainly capture the hearts of a fair few we think! This pretty girl is Lizzy, she is a social butterfly with lovely manners and is very calm and polite (there is a little bit of puppy in there somewhere though for special occasions!). We think she may suit households with children 5 and over or maybe even a person looking for a friend to spend their golden years with. She may even suit living in an apartment type setting as she is more on the chill side. If she lives with a canine brother then something medium or larger may be suited to her.
This dog is part of our Assisted Rehoming Program (ARP). We have behavioural and health assessed this lovely dog, and they will remain with their racing owners until they find an adoptive home, at which point they are brought back into GAP. This means that should you be interested in adopting this dog, we are bringing the dog into GAP on the understanding that you will be adopting this particular dog, and not other dogs currently in our care.

Tee Tee ARP
Tee Tee will have you “Hee Hee-ing” with her attics. Tee Tee is a stunning girl that can be a little upright when greeting and mingling with new dogs, so an owner that will understand her body language will be better for her whilst she learns about the exciting new world. Due to her funny way of socialising, we think she may be better off with a robust dog of any size that can show her how to ‘dog’. Tee Tee is still only a young girl so we think that children 10and over and a place with a yard would be more her style whilst she grows up.

Ella ARP
How cute is this sweetheart! She is such a dainty, polite, gentle little soul that is very much looking forward to a home of her very own. She may suit living with another male dog of any size that is respectful of her personal space whilst she settles in and children 5 and over. She also may be suitable for someone that is retired and looking for a companion as she is lovely to walk and quiet. She does loves pending some time outside though whether it just be for a morning sunbake or spend the whole day relaxing, so we think anywhere with some sort of outside area she can bask in would be great.

Indi Was Iddy

Katelyn ARP
Katelyn is a lovely, sweet and confident girl who is so excited for her forever home that she has her bags packed! She may be happy to live in a home with or without another robust medium or large canine companion and children aged 10 years or older. She may be happy to live with full time workers.

Willow ARP
We promise she has ears! Willow is a sweet little girl that can be a little unsure in new environments and will need a quiet and understanding new home to let her settle in. Once she is comfortable, we are sure a cheeky and playful little pup will emerge. Due to this, a home with a backyard and older children if any may be a better fit for her. She may even like the company of another male canine companion to help show her the world, as long as they are calm and respectful whilst she is adjusting. We think the best is yet to come with dear Willow and will make someone super pleased to have her in their life.

Marley ARP
Are you looking for a mature greyhound who may be happy to live with a smaller dog? Marley might be your lady! She is super sweet, friendly, and outgoing, and has all the love to give. Marley may be happiest in a home with children 10 years and over and might suit living with full time workers.

Mr D ARP
Hi! I’m Mr D! What’s that you say!? I’m handsome? Well, there is so much more to love about me than my handsome looks but ill point out my shiny coat, awesome pointy ears and a tail that winds up like a helicopter but most importantly I am a real sweet, friendly and fun boy that is always up for an adventure. I think I might be ok to live with children 10 and over or maybe even another medium or larger play buddy!
