Jells Park Greyhound Walk

This is a friendly group of greys and their owners meeting monthly on a lovely walk.

We are a friendly and supportive group of houndie families who meet every third weekend of the month -alternating Saturdays/Sundays.

Our catch up and walk is suitable to humans and houndies of all abilities. Meeting outside the T-House Cafe at 9.30am for a special morning of togetherness and sharing our love for our precious hounds! Lots of laughter, chatter and gorgeous greys. Some stay and have a sit on a picnic rug relaxing the day away. We have a lot of fun and I think it is a great place for greys to feel comfortable and hang out together. Hope to see lots of lovely beings. :)

Meet Wolf! He is a young boy who can be a bit unsure of new environments and situations. Once he is comfortable, he allows his true colours to shine through and is puppyish, playful and affectionate. Wolf appears to have some issues with his vision, so he will need a special home who can manage this over the course of his life. Wolf may suit living with or without a canine pal of similar size and older children aged in their teens. Wolf has low vision, which isn't expected to get any worse. He doesn't require medication for this. He will be adopted out with a approval for a follow up appointment with an eye specialist, paid for by GAP.

He is incredibly affectionate and polite, and even better he may be very comfortable in a home with a feline companion. This gentle boy can be a bit nervous around other dogs with high energy, so we think he may suit being the star of the show as an only dog or may enjoy another calm greyhound to keep him company. Old Man may also be happy in a home with children 10+ who understand his love for the slow life.

She may also do best in a home with children aged 10 years and older and may be OK to live with or without a playful dog of any size.

Gracie is a lady of leisure and much prefers hanging out inside than outside so we think she may be ok in an apartment type setting, as long as she still gets her walks!
