Jells Park Greyhound Walk

This is a friendly group of greys and their owners meeting monthly on a lovely walk.
We are a friendly and supportive group of houndie families who meet every third weekend of the month -alternating Saturdays/Sundays.
Our catch up and walk is suitable to humans and houndies of all abilities. Meeting outside the T-House Cafe at 9.30am for a special morning of togetherness and sharing our love for our precious hounds! Lots of laughter, chatter and gorgeous greys. Some stay and have a sit on a picnic rug relaxing the day away. We have a lot of fun and I think it is a great place for greys to feel comfortable and hang out together. Hope to see lots of lovely beings. :)
EVERYONE WARMLY WELCOME!
You can also join our Facebook group via the register button to stay up to date with all our events.
Meet our dogs ready for adoption

Puddles

Zoodles ARP
Zoodles is a quiet, calm and polite girl with a sweet, affectionate nature. She’s personable and still has a touch of puppyish charm, making her a lovely mix of gentle and playful. Zoodles may suit living on her own or small, medium or large dogs, and could be suitable for a home with children aged 10+.
This dog is part of our Assisted Rehoming Program(ARP). We have behavioural and health assessed this lovely dog, and they will remain with their racing owners until they find an adoptive home, at which point they are brought back into GAP. This means that should you be interested in adopting this dog, we are bringing the dog into GAP on the understanding that you will be adopting this particular dog, and no other dogs currently in our care.

Smokey ARP
What a stunning blue fawn this girl is and she has the personality to match! She is gentle, polite, oh so friendly, outgoing, super affectionate and loves to zoom! As you would expect from a sweet 1 yr old, she can be puppyish and playful but she knows when to be calm and respectful. Due to her age, we don’t think elderly or apartments would suit this girl but she may suit living with children 5 and over and with or without another male dog companion. She would love a backyard to get her sillies out in and may be ok for full timeworkers as long as she has her enrichment needs met.

William ARP
Isn’t he just handsome! William is for sure a looker but under that stunning coat is a soft, sweet but shy young man that will need sometime and patience in his new home whilst he learns the lay of the land. He may do best in a quiet and predicable home that will let him come out of his shell in his own time. William will do best with a home that has a yard for him to relax in whilst he transitions as a pet and maybe another a dog of any size. If there are children in the home, then respectful teens (15 and over) would be better for him. Will you be sweet William’s forever home?
