Jells Park Greyhound Walk

This is a friendly group of greys and their owners meeting monthly on a lovely walk.

We are a friendly and supportive group of houndie families who meet every third weekend of the month -alternating Saturdays/Sundays.

Our catch up and walk is suitable to humans and houndies of all abilities. Meeting outside the T-House Cafe at 9.30am for a special morning of togetherness and sharing our love for our precious hounds! Lots of laughter, chatter and gorgeous greys. Some stay and have a sit on a picnic rug relaxing the day away. We have a lot of fun and I think it is a great place for greys to feel comfortable and hang out together. Hope to see lots of lovely beings. :)

Who can resist that adorable ever so slightly greying face, unexpected tongue blep and the head tilt to top it all off. Banjo has really put on the charm for this one! Sweet Banjo is ready for his next life adventure (although he has made sure we let his new owners know about his napping schedule as it is very important!). Banjo recently completed his extra curriculum activities here at GAP to make sure his skills were polished and ready to head off into the world. We think whomever adopts Banjo is going to have a best buddy come home with them! We think he may suit living with another medium or larger canine buddy and maybe children 10 and over. We also think due to his quiet nature and laziness in the kennels he may suit living in an apartment type setting.

He at times doesn’t know his own size and will likely suit a home with older children aged 15 years and older. He may suit living with or without a robust canine friend of any size. This active pup would likely suit a home with a backyard to run and play in.

This dog is part of our Assisted Rehoming Program (ARP). This boy has the most "Pawfect" ears for a hat! Mr Pawfect may not be that just yet but he is certainly one who will try his hardest in everything he does. He is a bit puppy at heart and is still learning how to play but we think he will settle when he is in his new home. Pawfect may suit living with children 10 and over and another medium or larger play buddy to show him the ropes.

With his eager to please attitude and loving personality, Riverton is the kind of companion who will fit beautifully into a home that is looking for a social and affectionate dog. Riverton may suit living with medium or large dogs, but he is not suitable for a home with small dogs. He may also be suitable for a household with children aged 10 years and older. Riverton has a low-grade heart murmur, which requires no medication, and doesn't affect his day-to-day life. He also had corns treated at out clinic at GAP, which have healed up well.
