Looking to connect with fellow greyhound enthusiasts in a beautiful, relaxed setting? Whether you're a long-time adopter or new to the world of greys, our Geelong Greyhound Walks are a lovely way to spend your Sunday morning.

Join Sandra Ettridge and a warm community of greyhound owners for a weekly walk full of friendly chats, curious sniffs, and happy tails. It's the perfect chance to socialise your greyhound and enjoy some fresh air along Geelong’s scenic spots.

📍 Every Sunday at 8:30am – meet by the Ferris Wheel at the Geelong Waterfront.
📍 First Sunday of each month at 10:00am – meet at Balliang Sanctuary (opposite side of the river).

No bookings needed - just turn up with your greyhound and enjoy the stroll!

Who can resist that adorable ever so slightly greying face, unexpected tongue blep and the head tilt to top it all off. Banjo has really put on the charm for this one! Sweet Banjo is ready for his next life adventure (although he has made sure we let his new owners know about his napping schedule as it is very important!). Banjo recently completed his extra curriculum activities here at GAP to make sure his skills were polished and ready to head off into the world. We think whomever adopts Banjo is going to have a best buddy come home with them! We think he may suit living with another medium or larger canine buddy and maybe children 10 and over. We also think due to his quiet nature and laziness in the kennels he may suit living in an apartment type setting.

He is a bit puppy at heart and is still learning how to play but we think he will settle when he is in his new home. Riverton may suit living with medium or large dogs, but he is not suitable for a home with small dogs. He may also be suitable for a household with children aged 10 years and older. Riverton has a low-grade heart murmur, which requires no medication, and doesn't affect his day-to-day life. He also had corns treated at out clinic at GAP, which have healed up well.
