Sava is a truly lovely greyhound with a calm and easygoing nature that makes him a pleasure to have around. Quiet and laidback, he takes life in his stride while still being friendly and gently outgoing when meeting new people. Sava has a warm, personable charm and enjoys sharing his affectionate side with those he trusts, whether that’s relaxing by your side or joining you for a peaceful stroll.

With his adaptable temperament, Sava may suit a variety of homes. He could live happily with or without a canine companion of similar size and is likely to do well with children aged five years and older. Thanks to his calm and quiet nature, he may even be well suited to apartment living. Sava is a sweet, steady companion who will bring a sense of calm and comfort to his forever home.

Sava is part of our Assisted Rehoming Program (ARP). We have behavioural and healthassessed this lovely dog, and they will remain with their racing owners untilthey find an adoptive home, at which point they are brought back into GAP. Thismeans that should you be interested in adopting this dog, we are bringing thedog into GAP on the understanding that you will be adopting this particulardog, and no other dogs currently in our care.

Visit one of our adoption centres to meet the greyhounds and spend time finding the right match for you.

Step 4 - Welcoming your greyhound home

Once approved, you’ll bring your new greyhound home with helpful info on their care and medical history.

Step 5 - Ongoing support

Our support doesn’t end at adoption - we’re here for you and your greyhound every step of the way.

Due to his gentle but steady nature, he is not suited to an elderly household. For those looking for a sweet, steady companion who brings quiet joy rather than chaos, Pauly is ready to settle in and become a devoted and loving friend. Pauly has previously had a Hock fracture repaired prior to GAP entry he bares weight on it, and he has done a course of pentosan.

She loves being close to people, seeks eye contact, leans in for cuddles and is always eager to please. Mango likes the occasional burst of zoomies but is mostly a calm and easy-going girl. She can confidently manage stairs and maybe suitable for apartment living. Mango may thrive as an only dog or may be suitable to live with any sized dogs; she also may be suitable to live with children aged 5+.

Charlotte may suit a family with children aged 5 years and older, and because of her quiet and gentle nature she may be suitable to live in an apartment.

Want the city of love to come to you? Well, here he is! Paris is ready to fill your home and hearts with love, cheekiness and affection. Paris has ticked all the boxes at GAP and in foster care where he really shone! He cant wait to get into a house of his own. We think that he might suit living with or without another medium or larger dog. We also think he may suit living with children 10 and over and with full time workers. Paris has an old injury to his left hock and it is stable. He would benefit from joint supplements in his future. He also has a low grade heart murmur, which is commonly seen in greyhounds. Regular checks with your vet is recommended.
