Personable with the people he knows and trusts, Maverick enjoys being part of the action while still appreciating his own space. He can come across as a little aloof at first, but once he's comfortable, his playful side shines through. He loves tasty treats, enjoys stretching his legs with the occasional burst of zoomies, and is sure to bring plenty of laughter and character to his new home.
Maverick is looking for a home with adults or a family with children aged 10 years and over. He would be best suited as an only dog, or with a calm medium to large canine companion following a successful introduction. Having completed behavioural rehabilitation, Maverick has made great progress and is ready for a fresh start with an understanding adopter who will continue to support him. Due to his history, he cannot live with small dogs, cats, or other small animals. He is not suited to a home with elderly residents and will thrive in an environment that respects his boundaries while allowing him to build confidence and enjoy life at his own pace.
