The beginning of our third week of fostering brought the realisation that Marshall would be leaving Megan and I and finding a fur-ever home.
Once we picked up Marshall we were instantly in love and weren’t sure how we were ever going to give him back.
Have you always wanted to have a dog but can’t commit to having one full-time… foster care could be the perfect option for you!
Fostering is a rewarding way to help greyhounds transition from racing to retirement. One of GRV’s key goals is to re-home racing greyhounds through the Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP).
The GRV’s Community Day held at the Meadows on 18 November welcomed hundreds of greyhound pet owners and their dogs. The event festivities included kids’ activities, a complementary BBQ and lots of dog-related booths and resources.
