It has been exactly a decade since Fred Basset had his first race start for his famous owners Hamish Blake and Andy Lee.

Most of the 2,000 people at Sandown Park that night were teenagers experiencing their very first night at the greyhound races, and while Fred’s performance didn’t exactly go to plan, Hamish and Andy ensured it was a fun time for all as they spent the night signing autographs and posing for photos with fans.
