Video: Supercat Falls for Super Dog Breed

The Geelong Greyhound Walking Group is fast growing in size, and one adopter that stands out among the crowd is basketballer Kyle Vos from the Geelong Supercats.

Vos adopted his first pet greyhound, Ted, in 2014 after hearing about the breed’s suitability as pets.

“I’ve always liked watching greyhound racing and I had heard that greyhounds make great pets, so this led me to doing a bit of research into the Greyhound Adoption Program,” Vos said.

Vos said Geelong’s Walking Group – which meets once a month – provided an excellent social platform for both greyhounds and their owners.

“I get down here (for the walks) as often as I can. It’s really good to be able to mingle with like-minded people about greyhounds,” Vos added.

Geelong Greyhound Walking group meets at Rippleside Park in North Geelong on one Sunday each month.
