Shepparton’s first greyhound Adoption Day was a success with 13 greyhounds finding fur-ever homes on Sunday, December 2, 2018.
Adoption Day is around the corner and there will be around 30 greyhounds looking for new homes in Shepparton on Sunday, December 2 from 11am to 1pm.
The first Shepparton Greyhound Adoption Day will be held at the Shepparton Greyhound Racing Club on December 2, 2018 from 11am to 1pm. It is expected that 30 greyhounds will find forever homes at the event hosted by GRV’s Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP).
The Royal Melbourne Show is back on again, which means Greyhound Racing Victoria’s adoption program will be represented.
GAP has many wonderful supporters in Victoria and further afield. Sean and Julie Novak, who live in Alaska, probably win the prize as the most distant admirers of GAP.
Fifteen-year-old Emma Borroni is one of GAP’s youngest volunteers.
