The Melbourne Royal Show is back on, and GAP is getting its show on the road!

The Greyhound Adoption Program will once again have a big stand at the show, which is one of the biggest events of the year for GAP. Thousands of people come past every day, and they can never resist a quick pat on the way past, in fact many can’t drag themselves away.

For many people, it’s the first time they meet a greyhound. The Show stand is a fantastic place to meet the dogs and talk to their owners or GAP/GRV staff about what they (the greyhounds, not the staff) are like as a pet. Our magnificent network of volunteer owners, and their charges, look forward to this event every year. If there’s anything a greyhound owner loves to talk about, it’s their greyhound.

We’ll be there every day of the show, from September 22 until October 2, from 10am until 6pm, located in the 9New Lifestyle & Local Heroes Pavilion (near gate 1). There will be plenty of information available, but it’s the whole experience of meeting a greyhound that will live in your memory.
