Lisa was already well acquainted with the greyhound breed prior to heading to GAP Seymour earlier this year. She adopted her first greyhound, Shane, more than two years ago and was hoping to find him a companion and add a new member to the family.
Minnesota (Minnie) settled into her forever home in Wallan perfectly.
“She is just amazing. She is very affectionate and loves to sit on you and give kisses. She loves the kids and licks them to death!” says Lisa.
Best of all, Minnie gets along with Shane like a house on fire and together they share a mutual love of zoomies.
“They have zoomie races in the backyard to see who is the fastest. They hide behind trees and jump out and scare each other. They also like to play tug-o-war with their toys!”
Minnie can also be a bit of a diva, managing to race inside any chance she gets and firmly planting herself on the couch, but Lisa wouldn’t have it any other way.
“I literally have to lift her off the couch to go outside to the toilet. She loves her comfort. We love Minnesota so much and are so glad we welcomed her into our family. Shane is loving having a sister!”
Nice.
