Melbourne AFL midfielder Bernie Vince (pictured) has agreed to stay on as ambassador for the Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP) for another year.
Bernie joined GAP last year as an ambassador to raise awareness about the greyhound re-homing program. Bernie has been a terrific ambassador for the program, promoting GAP at the Royal Melbourne Show and in media interviews.
Channel Seven cameras captured the AFL star when he made his debut fostering a greyhound.
He welcomed a brindle beauty Emily into his home – but not for long because Emily was quickly snapped up by a couple from Seaford.
For someone who used to know very little about greyhounds, Bernie has become an admirer of the breed as a household pet. GAP and GRV are looking forward to continuing our association with Bernie.
