The Greyhound Adoption Program’s facility on the Mornington Peninsula is on the verge of achieving a significant milestone.
“It’s looking very likely that we will adopt our 100th greyhound this weekend which is great news,” announced GAP Adoption Officer, Michelle Fisher.
“We opened up the facility in May, so it works out that we’ve adopted an average of three greyhounds a week. This milestone has sneaked up on us really quickly and is something to be very proud of.”
The Mornington Peninsula facility gives people in Melbourne and Victoria’s south-east region an alternate option to view and adopt GAP greyhounds closer to home, rather than travelling to Seymour.
To view GAP greyhounds available for adoption at our Mornington Peninsula location, make an appointment by calling 5799 0166 during business hours.
