Seventy adorable greyhounds in one place – and all ready for adoption!
That scenario might sound too good to be true for the fast-growing list of potential adopters around the state, however that is the exciting reality surrounding the upcoming ‘Adoption Day’ to be held at GAP’s base in Seymour on Sunday 18 October.
Just a cruisy one hour and 15 minute drive from Melbourne, the Greyhound Adoption Program is looking to create history on this day, as the single day record of 24 adoptions is certain to come under threat.
We encourage people to bring any existing pet dogs they have along with them, so they can interact with the greyhounds and ensure we find the greyhound that is just right for you. Even if you are not quite ready to adopt, we’d still love to see you and answer any questions over a complimentary light lunch.
Registering for this event is essential in order to speed up the adoption process on the day.
