FORMER STAR TO HELP PROMOTE GAP AT THE SHOW

Mid Levels, one of the best greyhound sprinters Victoria has produced in recent years, will be helping promote GAP at the Royal Melbourne Show this month.

Known as Chad, Mid Levels made a number of big finals, including a third place finish in one of this country’s premier races, the 2011 Group 1 Australian Cup at The Meadows.

Bred and trained at Moe by Peter Giles, Mid Levels had 110 starts for 32 wins, 47 placings and $117,000 in prize money.

GAP manager Larissa Darragh explained how Chad is not lacking in confidence.

“He was a very good performer on the racetrack and he knows it too. He’s got a fair opinion of himself. He’s very friendly and sociable and is a legend in his own lunchbox,” she laughed.

Mid Levels is white and fawn in colour and he is just four years of age.

Mid Levels will appear at the Royal Melbourne Show on the following days:

- Sun 23rd Sept (afternoon)
- Tue 25th Sept (afternoon)
- Thu 27th Sept (afternoon)
- Sat 29th Sept (morning)
