APRIL IS NATIONAL GREYHOUND ADOPTION MONTH!
We’re looking at April already? Where did those three months go? There’s good news among the impending cooler months however…
It’s National Adoption Month for Greyhounds!
Adoption agencies all over Australia will be putting every available hour into their adoptions with special events and adoption days, and here in Victoria there’s something every weekend.
Pawsome Stroll
On the next weekend, get the walking shoes and the leads; it’s a greyhound walking day in Geelong .
- 10:00am arrival/start time – 11:00am finish.
- Location – Balyang Sanctuary, Meeting spot is the end of Marnock road car park.
It’s an opportunity to connect with fellow greyhound enthusiasts, enjoy the great outdoors, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Whether you’re a seasoned greyhound owner or simply appreciate the grace and beauty of these gentle giants, this event promises to be a day filled with fun and camaraderie.
So mark your calendars, dust off your walking shoes, and get ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure with our beloved greyhounds. We can’t wait to see you there!
National Adoption Day Victoria
Oh, and one more bonus for the National Adoption Month – every adoption will include a free 4kg bag of quality dog food!
The days are getting shorter, but the dogs are just as long as ever! We hope to see you in April…
Then, the climax of the month. The National Adoption Day at The Meadows greyhound club in Broadmeadows. From 10am until about 2pm, we’ll have about 30 dogs available. Anyone who has been to one of the Meadows adoption days will remember well how much joy they can be, seeing some very happy dogs going home with very happy new families!
