Need advice about your greyhound’s behaviour?

We are taking registrations for our next three Greyhound Behavioural Sessions which will be held in August, September and November.

The next session will be held on Friday, August 24 at our Seymour kennels, then on Friday, September 14 and Friday, November 9.

This new GAP service has been established to provide advice about behavioural issues. Bring your greyhound along for a one-on-one, hour-long appointment with GAP’s senior assessor Diana Rayment.

Spots are filling fast for our August session but if several greyhound owners share the same issue we do have capacity to group them together, so we can help as many greyhounds and their owners as possible.

The first behavioural session, which was held last Friday, was a great success, dealing with issues such as leash reactivity, trouble walking up and down stairs and house training.

GAP adoption manager Larissa Darragh said feedback from the first day was very positive. “We believe everyone left with some new skills and a greater understanding of canine behaviour and how to manage their dogs,” she said.

All greyhound owners are welcome, no matter what your problem or where you got your greyhound.

All sessions are held from 10am-2pm. Bookings are essential so call GAP on 5799 0166 to book an appointment.
