More than 70 greyhounds including three irresistible young puppies will be available for adoption at The Meadows on Sunday 1 May in what is set to be Melbourne’s biggest ever greyhound ‘Adoption Day’.
Interest in greyhounds as pets is at an all-time high here in Victoria, with the Greyhound Adoption Program receiving an unprecedented number of enquiries from potential adopters in recent weeks.
As such, the team at GAP is working around the clock to get as many greyhounds through its foster care program and ready for adoption on what could be another record-breaking day for the greyhound breed.
Date: Sunday 1st May 2016
Venue: The Meadows, 80 Northcorp Blvd, Broadmeadows 3047
Time: We have two Adoption sessions on the day, with a complimentary light lunch provided in between sessions.
Adoption Session One: 11am – 12.30pm
Adoption Session Two: 1.15pm – 3pm
There will be 80 volunteers on the day including four staff members from South Australia’s Greyhound Adoption Program to help answer any of your questions.
